Our founder, Bonita, started at an early age of making clothing for family and friends on the island of Barbados. Her strong desire and talent for making beautiful clothing landed her in New York City where she worked in the garment industry and attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology.

Since graduating from FIT, Bonita has become a highly sought after designer worldwide.  She has worked with international fashion houses such as Yves St. Laurent, Valentino, Courreges and Sasha Frisson in Atlanta. Specializing in high-end custom couture designs and alterations, Bonita has earned a reputation for her attention to detail and excellent service to her customers.

Since 1972, Bonita has been designing and creating beautiful clothing for fashion saavy women under her own label, Bonita. Our business has over 30 years of experience designing timeless, high quality garments for upscale clientele around the world. With the introduction of our Travel Wardrobe, we are bringing together high quality design with worry-free, travel friendly fabrics.
